• Covers you to work anywhere in the world (provided you live, and are based in the UK)
• Employers’ liability and full legal expenses covers are also available if required
• Provides specialist legal defence to defend a claim
• Nil excess on the first claim in any policy year; £250 excess per claim thereafter
• Including cover for any complaints of misconduct against the insured or any person in connection with the Business
• Including cover for disciplinary proceedings by any professional regulator

The main exclusions

The policy is designed to cover any civil liability arising from your business - but there are a few specific exclusions:

• Any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from any survey or valuation or construction work
• Any financial or investment advice
• Any breach of taxation competition restraint of trade or anti-trust legislation
• Injuries to employees in the course of their employment with you (employers’ liability insurance can be arranged separately)
• Business risks such as contracts with suppliers or trading losses
• Any deliberate or dishonest act, committed or condoned
