Legal expenses insurance - Liability insurance for sole
traders
Did you know your insurance may not cover you
for legal costs if you’re running your own business?
Your current insurer may restrict or even
exclude cover altogether in the event of defending a legal
dispute.
Unlike conventional insurance, Legal Expenses
insurance does not make a direct payment for a claim. Instead, the
insurance covers for the legal costs involved in either pursuing or
defending a claim.
Towergate Professional Risks have designed a
bespoke policy which includes:
- Tax protection
- Statutory licence
- Contract disputes
- Bodily injury
- Property
- Breach of environmental obligations
- Energy performance of buildings directive
- Employment disputes
